SEIL Quality Standards

SEIL’s quality standards include BSI audited ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 certification. SEIL also work to IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, BS EN 60950 and the relevant DEF and MIL standards as required.

SEIL has received certification approvals from Factory Mutual (FM), Canadian Standards Authority (CSA) and CENELEC for Intrinsically Safe (IS) products. SEIL has also manufactured equipment that holds Food and Drug Administraton (FDA) approval and is compliant with the Zone 1 ATEX Directive.

Project designs are rigorously controlled through SEIL's Quality Management System (QMS) by a series of Internal and Customer Reviews, as laid down in the project specific Quality Plan, prior to formal Client Approval.

Each stage of the manufacturing process includes inspection, which is specified and monitored under our ISO 9001:2000 Quality System to IPC workmanship standards. Final inspection is carried out using stereo microscopes, which can be linked via video conferencing directly to the client.

SEIL’s continued investment in the latest in-house manufacturing, inspection and test equipment, and facilities underlines this strong commitment to quality, competitive pricing and rapid deliveries.
